Ticketek Rewards Information

What is Ticketek Rewards?
Ticketek Rewards is an online community, where through its membership program you can earn Ticketek Dollars by participating in a range of activities. Ticketek Dollars can be earned by; giving your opinions and feedback via surveys; viewing advertising and promotional material and purchasing products and services.
How do I join Ticketek Rewards?
To become a member of the Ticketek Rewards community, go to the Ticketek Rewards website at www.ticketekrewards.com.au and register.
Will it cost me anything to join Ticketek Rewards?
There are no costs involved with joining or maintaining an account with Ticketek Rewards. However, you do need an email address to receive invitations to participate in surveys and view special offers.
Can I join Ticketek Rewards if I live outside of Australia?
Unfortunately membership of the Australian Ticketek Rewards community is open only to Australian residents.
How does Ticketek Rewards work?
Following is an example of how a business would use Ticketek Rewards.

A market research company calls Veda Advantage and asks us if we have a certain user profile, such as males/females, aged 25-35. The client will have a specific number of people they will need to complete a survey, such as 500. A search through our membership base to find that user profile is done.

The client gives us a link to their survey and we email our members with that link and ask if they would like to complete a survey and be rewarded with Ticketek Dollars. Those members may go to our client's survey and start responding to questions. There usually will be a few questions between 3- 5, that will either qualify or disqualify members from that survey.

If you don't qualify you are taken out of the survey and you will only be credited the minimum amount into your members account. If you do qualify, you will continue to answer questions. If you complete the survey you will be credited the maximum amount in your members account. Once we fill the number of people requested by the client they close the survey. Those who have tried to take part in a closed survey, will still receive the minimum Ticketek Dollars credit.

What is expected of me as a member?
Please remember to keep your details up to date, especially your email address. It is very important that your user profile is current, as it will be difficult to qualify for surveys and special offers if it is not. Also, Ticketek Rewards is awarding Ticketek Dollars to those who are professional, honest, spend the necessary time to read the questions in a survey, and take this process seriously.
Why does Ticketek Rewards collect my personal information?
It is necessary for you to provide us with your demographic (personal) information and keep that information current for us to send you invitations. The more questions you answer in your registration form the more surveys and special offer invitations you will receive. If you need to update your information, once you are logged in click on the "My Profile" tab.
Do I need to complete all the profile questions?
No, you are not required to complete all the profile questions. You can return any time to your Ticketek Rewards account and update your profile. We do encourage our members to answer as many profile questions as possible as this will give you a better chance of receiving invitations.

How do I change my email address?
To change your email address you need to visit the Ticketek Rewards website (www.ticketekrewards.com.au ). Once on the Ticketek Rewards website;
  • Login to your Ticketek Rewards account using your existing email address and password.
  • Click on the My Profile tab, and go to the 'Update Details' box
  • Enter your new email address and click on the submit button
How do I change my password?
To change your password you need to visit the Ticketek Rewards website(www.ticketekrewards.com.au ). Once on the Ticketek Rewards website;
  • Login to your Ticketek Rewards account using your complete email address and existing password
  • Click on the My Profile tab, and go to the 'Update Details' box
  • Click on the Change Password link and enter the required information in the fields provided
What if I have forgotten my password?
If you have forgotten your password you need to visit the Ticketek Rewards website (www.ticketekrewards.com.au ). ). Once on the Ticketek Rewards home page;
  • Enter your email address and click on the 'forgot password' link
  • An email will sent to you with your password
How do I unsubscribe from Ticketek Rewards?
To unsubscribe from Ticketek Rewards, select the ‘Unsubscribe’ link on the bottom of the Ticketek Rewards website.
Are you able to close my account? What are the rules?
Membership to the Ticketek Rewards program is a privilege, not a given. Ticketek Rewards is looking for members who are honest survey takers and give great responses. Therefore, we reserve the right to terminate your account for "abuse" of our Terms of Agreement. In this case your account will be closed and all credit will be void.
How can I remove my personally identifying information from the Ticketek Rewards website?
To close your Ticketek Rewards account, select the ‘Unsubscribe’ link on the bottom of Ticketek Rewards website. Upon termination of your account, we will not keep any personal records concerning you except as required by law.
I have accidentally registered twice with different email addresses; can I merge them into 1?
Yes, you can merge your accounts. Go to the contact us page on the Ticketek Rewards website and send an email requesting this change. Unfortunately by combining 2 email addresses you will forfeit any rewards accrued in 1 of the accounts.
Please note that the decision to merge your accounts is at the discretion of Ticketek Rewards Management as per our Terms of Use which specify that you can only have 1 account with Ticketek Rewards.

What is a survey (online)?
A survey is an interview with a willing respondent. It is research where an interviewer interacts with respondents to obtain facts, opinions and attitudes. Online surveys are the same thing, except the interview (survey) is presented online which allows for instant capture of data (information).
What is a focus group?

Focus groups are conducted to gather understanding on how or why people hold certain beliefs about a topic or program of interest.

A focus group could be defined as a group of interacting individuals having some common interest or characteristics, brought together by a moderator, who uses the group and it's interaction as a way to gain information about a specific or focused issue.

A focus group is typically 7-10 people who are unfamiliar with each other. These participants are selected because they have certain characteristics in common that relate to the topic of the focus group. The group discussion is conducted several times with similar types of participants to identify trends and patterns in perceptions. Careful and systematic analysis of the discussions provides clues and insights as to how a product, service, or opportunity is perceived by the group.

How can I participate in a focus group?
Focus groups are typically 7-10 people and are very profile specific. For members that fit the profile the client is looking for, we will send an email to them and ask if they would like to participate in the focus group. If you do not wish to participate you will be credited the minimum amount. If you agree to attend the focus group you will need to provide your contact details for the client to contact you to arrange the location of the group. On completing the focus group interview you will be credited the maximum amount of Ticketek Dollars, which will appear in your personal members account.
What is a telephone interview?
A telephone interview is conducted with a willing respondent. It is research in which an interviewer conducts the interview by asking questions over the telephone with respondents to obtain facts, opinions and attitudes. Telephone interviews are the same as surveys, except the interview (survey) is conducted over the telephone which allows for instant capture of data (information).
What is a Special Offer Invitation?
A Special Offer invitation is an invitation sent to a sample of members to view advertising and promotional information about products and services or to offer members the opportunity to purchase products and services.
Why did I not qualify?
Surveys, focus group and telephone interviews sometime have restrictions, such as age or income, and they can be as restrictive as have you travelled interstate in the past 3 months. For instance, a client may request that those who travel interstate to take a survey, but then screen out everyone but those who travelled in the past 3 months. The first 3-5 questions of a survey are typically qualifiers and determine whether or not you can go ahead to complete the survey itself.
Why am I not getting any email invites?
Our emails are sent in HTML format, which can be read by all email software programs, however some Internet Service Providers (ISPs) have "spam" filters and may believe we are sending you unsolicited e-mails. You should speak with your provider and ask why you are not able to receive our invitations.
If your ISP is not being cooperative, we suggest you create an alternate e-mail account with one of the free e-mail services (yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc.) and then update your profile in the Ticketek Rewards database. Also about 20% of our invites bounce back to us because our members' free email accounts are over quota (full). Please make sure your email account has enough space to accept our emails.
How can I receive more invitations for surveys and special offers?
The only way to get more surveys is by keeping your profile current.
Why do the surveys include personal questions?
The surveys we send are from third parties and as a member of the Rewards system you are under no obligation to respond to any of the invitations that we send to you. You are part of an aggregated sample of consumers who are invited to participate in surveys. The personal questions included in some surveys are for the third party to gather information for the product they are researching.

Ticketek Dollars Questions

How do I get paid?
Once you have accumulated Ticketek Dollars to the minimum value of $25, you can redeem the Ticketek Dollars for a Ticketek gift voucher for the equivalent amount. Ticketek gift vouchers can be used to purchase tickets to Ticketek events.
How many Ticketek Dollars do I get paid for each survey or special offer I complete?
The amount of Ticketek Dollars you get paid varies depending on that particular survey or special offer. Every invitation you receive will specify the minimum and maximum amounts you can earn for responding and participating in that survey or special offer.
What can I use Ticketek Dollars for?
Ticketek Dollars can only be redeemed for Ticketek gift vouchers. Ticketek gift vouchers can be used to purchase tickets to Ticketek events.
How do I receive my Ticketek Gift Voucher?
Redemption of Ticketek Dollars will result in an emailed Ticketek Gift Voucher.
How long does it take to receive my Ticketek Gift Voucher?
The approximate time from Ticketek Dollars redemption to receipt of the Ticketek Gift Voucher is 3-5 working days.
How long does it take to credit my account?
Once the survey is completed you are credited immediately unless you have either completed a focus group or telephone interview. Focus groups and telephone interviews can take up to 10 working days depending on the length of these studies. We need to wait for the client to give us a list of all the members who have completed the focus group or telephone interview, before we can credit your account.
I just completed a survey and haven’t been credited, why?
Once an online survey is completed you are credited immediately, however if you participated in a focus group or telephone interview the credit could take up to 10 working days, so please be patient.
If you still have not been credited it is more than likely due to the following reasons that were listed in the Terms of Agreement you "agreed" to when registering with Ticketek Rewards:
  • Registering with Ticketek Rewards by giving us false or misleading information
  • Changing your profile and giving false or misleading information
  • Creating multiple Ticketek Rewards accounts
  • Taking the same survey more than once
  • Taking a survey, not qualifying, then taking the same survey again with knowledge of how to get through the qualifying process
  • Telling another member how to get through the survey qualifying process
  • Intentionally giving faulty responses on a survey
  • Completing a survey so quickly that you would not have been physically able to read the questions
  • Posting details of offers from Ticketek Rewards and clients links to surveys anywhere on the Internet
  • If we request as specific the Member profile in our email invite and you do not fit that profile, but attempt to take the survey anyway.
  • Registering or changing user profile with usernames or email addresses that Ticketek Rewards deems indecent
  • Unable to answer profile verification questions
Why do I only get 40 cents (for example) for clicking through to a special offer?
We are paying you for the time you have taken to click through to the special offer. We hope that the special offer you receive is of interest and benefit to you, however if you are not interested in the special offer the payment amount is our appreciation of your participation.
